Hi, I’m Miss Sara

As a speech-language pathologist, I understand the importance of effective communication for children with speech and language disorders. I graduated with my Master of Arts in 2019 and have dedicated my career to helping families improve their children's communication skills in a fun and engaging way. If your child is struggling to communicate effectively, I am here to help. With my expertise and personalized approach, I work with families to develop individualized treatment plans that target their child's unique needs. My goal is to empower families to become active participants in their child's communication journey and to help my clients reach their full potential.

My Services

  • Expressive and Receptive Language

Receptive language is the ability to understand and process language, where expressive language is the ability to communicate and convey ideas and desires. Speech-language therapy can help develop both areas.

  • Pragmatic Language

Pragmatic language refers to the social use of language. Developing skills such as conversational turn-taking as well as understanding the perspectives of others helps children grow into strong communicators.

  • Articulation, Phonology & Apraxia

Does your child struggle to speak clearly? I can evaluate your child to determine deficits as well as evidence-based treatment plans to help them master speech sound production.

I understand the challenges families face in ensuring their child receives the appropriate services and support within the school system. With my knowledge and experience in school-based evaluations and therapy, I can help families advocate for their child's needs and navigate the IEP/504 process.
