FAQs
What are the frequency and duration of services?
The frequency and duration of therapy sessions are dependent on the individual needs of each client and will be determined after the initial evaluation. We typically recommend 30-minute sessions. Depending on the type and severity of the speech-language disorder, therapy is usually recommended 1 to 2 times per week.
Where do sessions occur?
As of now, sessions will occur in the client’s home, daycare or school. Teletherapy is also an option for consultation and speech-language treatment sessions. Teletherapy may not be appropriate for all clients and is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Do you take insurance?
I am currently considered to be an out-of-network provider for insurance companies. If you are seeking reimbursement from your insurance company, a Superbill (detailed receipts) can be provided upon request. You may contact your insurance company directly to determine if they provide coverage for out-of-network assessment and treatment for speech-language therapy. Each insurance company is different and it is your responsibility to contact your insurance provider to find out coverage as well as additional requirements for reimbursement.
